Sweetwater Estate Shiraz 2007
The 2007 vintage enjoyed warm summer conditions, perfect for maturing rich ripe Shiraz. The end result is generous blackberry & plum with "Hunter" savoury characters of spice and earth. This wine has luscious primary fruit and a great tannin structure to ensure it will age gracefully and reward the patient few.

"Hand-picked at night (miner's lamps), matured in 60% American, 40% French oak. Exceptional retention of colour and hue, not possible under cork. This hot year produced shiraz with masses of plum and blackberry fruit that will slowly become even more regional as leather and earth notes grow." James Halliday (July 2021)
