Sweetwater Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Sweetwater Vineyard grapes are hand picked on land that has been the setting since 1844, for one of the oldest known vineyard sites in the Lower Hunter Valley.
Grown in ancient red soils, nourished by local clear waters and blessed by Australia’s abundant and constant sunshine, the Sweetwater winemakers complete the natural fermentation process, maturing the wine in French oak barrels to produce this earthy Cabernet Sauvignon.

"Hunter Valley cabernet is an oxymoron, but earnest efforts have been made with this wine, and have succeeded in teasing out cassis fruit while keeping tannins under control. Back vintages are variable, some as good as this wine, others not." James Halliday (June 2021)
